Q: Who are we?
We are a group of Farmers that breed Dexter Cattle in Donegal and we're passionate about creating a market for our delicious Dexter Beef.
Q: Where are our products processed?
Our meat products are processed and packaged in Brendan Gallagher’s quality butchers, Castlefinn, Co Donegal. From there they are boxed in our HSE approved distribution centre in Letterkenny and distributed nationwide via courier
Q: Regulations for processing?
All our processes from start to finish are vetted and approved by the HSE, their strict guidelines must be adhered to. Our farms are also Board Bia quality approved.
Q: What is the group structure?
We are a legally registered company. Our group is made up of 30 farms/Farmers with the intention of selling our products directly to the consumer. The group is lead and organised by an executive committee made up of members, these members are elected annually.
Packaging & Delivery
Q: How is the beef packaged for delivery?
A: As per HSE guidelines, our beef is vacuum sealed for freshness and packed in
insulated boxes with ice packs to maintain the correct temperature during
transport.
Q: How is the beef delivered nationwide?
A: We deliver nationwide using the courier DPD, one of the few that specializes
in food transport.
Q: How long does delivery take?
A: Orders are typically delivered within 24 hours once dispatched. You’ll
receive tracking details and a follow up call once your order is on the way.
Q: Do I need to be home to receive my delivery?
A: Our products are perishable, so we recommend someone is available to receive
and store them promptly.
Payment
Q: Is my payment information secure?
A: Yes! Our website uses SSL encryption to protect your data, and we process
payments securely through Stripe, a trusted global payment provider.
Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A: We accept major credit and debit cards through Stripe.
Q: Can I pay on delivery?
A: Yes, you can place an order using the email address info@donegaldexter.ie and payment can
be arranged at pickup or over the phone.
Storage & Cooking
Q: How should I store my beef after delivery?
A: Keep it in the fridge if you plan to use it within a few days. Otherwise,
our vacuum-sealed packaging makes it perfect for freezing.
Q: What’s the best way to cook Dexter beef?
A: Dexter beef is naturally tender and flavourful. For roasts and stews we
recommend cooking it slowly at lower temperatures to enhance its rich taste. For

A: Customer satisfaction is our top priority. If you experience any issues,

Q: Can I return or exchange products?
A: Due to the perishable nature of our products, we can’t accept returns.
However, if there’s a problem with your order, please let us know and we’ll attempt
